One glide, low to high
A single, gentle sweep that estimates the notes you can reach today. No pass or fail — just a starting point.
Before you sweep
- • Quiet room, no music playing. Hold your device about an arm's length away.
- • On an easy “oo” or “ah”, start on your lowest comfortable note and glide upward in one continuous slide to your highest comfortable note.
- • Take about 12 seconds. Stop rising the moment anything strains, then tap “Finish sweep”.
A practice estimate — not a clinical test or medical advice. Range changes with rest, hydration and time of day. Room noise, accompaniment, mic distance and vibrato affect readings. If singing hurts or hoarseness lasts, see a voice health professional.
Brief stray readings (clicks, octave jumps, background noise) are filtered out, so the estimate reflects your continuous glide.
